You must be a Gambler to use puns like that.

    Another example of cartoon physics…..

    More like comic botany. :-D

Trees grow from the top. Individual branches never get any higher off the ground.

They also grow outward, otherwise trees wouldn’t have rings. :-)

There’s the thought that Humpty Dumpty represented Richard III or a cannon.

Whenever he’s mentioned in the comics, it seems somebody has to claim he’s not an egg.

At least it’s not as bad as people constantly saying Ziggy has no pants or other comic cliches….

He seems like a hard-boiled character to me.

But 666 obviously represents “six hundred sixty-six”. The concept is important, not the characters.

Would you prefer DCLXVI? (Interestingly, the first six Roman numerals in descending order.)

By the way, do you know what 668 is?

    The Beast’s next-door neighbor.

    What a waste.

To live within your means or not? ;-)

If you don’t use credit cards and don’t get loans, you’ll have little credit history.

The best way is to have one or two cards that you use responsibly and pay off every month. The higher the credit limit they have, the better.

The most important things in a credit score are:

    - On-time payment history

    - Credit utilization (total amount owed divided by total credit limit, which is way high credit limits are good)

    - Having credit cards (and loans) open for a long time

There are other factors, too, but the first two are probably the most important.

I suspect a lot of us enjoy the comics to escape from reality, if only for a bit. That’s why it’s so disappointing to see some people inject politics into even non-political comics.

Those are games, Loretta. Maybe you should have specified board games. :-X
