Good suggestion. Seems they along with our own city council check the wrong boxes every time they set priorities and boast about their attention to the public good.

    Do I get a hint of early childhood . . . H-m-m-m?

Go ahead and build one when it snows, Kid. Then watch it as the sun begins to hit your area more often. You’ll understand and you’ll never forget. Few lessons are that gentle or long lasting.

I knew someone who could do three things at once and maintain a conversation. She was Mom and she ran the house and Dad and me very efficiently. Of course, that was in the ’35 to ’57. Then I left home and lightened the load by 75%. [I was a pain]

Sounds like part of a song lyric.

She is between the impossibles. Who would care for people who aren’t there?

Agree. Worth a second look soon.

Enjoying this arc. Don’t remember seeing the original in ’74 but life was different for us in those days. Rural area, no paper delivery. New home, new area, new jobs for both of us. Little time for newspaper. No internet.

When we lived on several acres in rural area, we tried cutting different type of tree each year. One year we cut what looked like small upright long needle pine. Next morning after night in heated house, limbs had relaxed enough to cover 8’ sliding glass door and half of den. Was fun decorating anyway. Just took a lot more tinsel and lights.

Another time we choose a small fir. Next morning there were small mantises all over the den and ceiling. Their wintering pods had opened in the heat. Sons and pup had great fun chasing them while I tried to vacuum the room. That was fun even before the lights and balls.

First traffic roundabout installed in another suburb near ours. Shows up suddenly around a 45mph curve into 10mph zone, which is almost guaranteeing a rear fender crunch at some point. 18" high white rods mark the elliptical path to the left then back to the right and out. Very strange and very small. They won’t last long.

Spent 2 years driving in England in the 50’s and they knew how to do a round-about. Many were 3 lanes wide. This one is definitely gonna be interesting to watch.
