Point taken on the foul weather issue, though I would think foul weather would do for these kinds of boats, whether towed or rowed.
An interesting point (re manning) though there is the point that one could have been towed with gear inside.
Is this series too short for a book? In all seriousness, it might make for a fun read all together, perhaps with some “real” stripps added to fill it out.
