   I’ve heard that in Mexico and parts of South America, dogs learn to expect hot pepper with their table scraps.Whether or not they ENJOY them is a different question.Apparently, like human children, puppies don’t care for the heat, but with time and exposure, they are eager and willing to beg for, and devour spicy food. With or without relish.

   yes, but…I understand the joke with the shrunken woolies. But with 3 shrunken sheep, and counted as 1/2 each, then it’s 32,33, 33 1/2, 34, 34 1/2, 35 1/2, 36 1/2…At 1/3 each, you get the 33 1/3 joke AND the list falls back to integer sheep after 34.

   THAT is the bare minimum level of historical accuracy that the Bible presents. AND only from the biased viewpoint of a single tribe/nation/cult. The Persian invasion, the rebuilding of Jerusalem, etc. yes. DETAILS of personal events… no

   There ARE correlations beyond the existence of Jerusalem. Abram was said to be from “Ur of the Chaldeans”. Apparently they found that city. Also non-biblical references to King David and others. Not matching the full DETAILS expounded in the Bible, but enough to be the basis of some Historical fiction/ Enhanced legends/ Grandpa’s tall tales/ etc.
